20 NYC Brunch recommendations

Hi pals,

It’s been a minute since my last review. This time we are doing things differently! My Substack is going to be mostly text from now on. You can, however, find specific and short reviews on my Beli and little paragraphs with as many photos as I took on my instagram. Both are @belsnyc

I’m very excited about those and hope you follow me there! I also hope you follow me to brunch… I have some recs tried and true and other recs that are from my current list.

Best Brunches I’ve actually tried in NYC (unranked except for Bubby’s):

1. Bubby’s (the ultimate brunch)

2. Moms (no reservations is the downside here)

3. Apollo Bagels (I know it’s not a restaurant but it still deserves a spot here)

4. American Bar (my hot take is it’s better than dinner)

5. SERRA by Birreria (impossible not to have a cute time here)

6. Warren Street Bar & Restaurant (fancy but wowwww delish)

7. Tea & Sympathy (such yum high tea)

8. Tara Rose (actually good food for a fun bottomless let’s go for brunch and end up asleep or at another bar)

9. Brookside Market (in Queens! Very cute shopping around after)

10. Tartinery (a bit more fast casual than the rest but their matcha is amazing)
